Eshua is a heroic epic based on the biblical story from Genesis to Revelation, performed in the style of Altai throat singing. It was written by the famous Altai artist and storyteller Aidyn Kurmanov.
For the first time, the epic was presented to the public on the stage of the International Kurultai of Narrators in the capital of the Altai Republic, the city of Gorno-Altaisk, as part of the fifteenth Interregional holiday of the Altai people "El-Oiyn", dedicated to the 260th anniversary of the voluntary entry of the Altai people into the Russian state, the 25th anniversary of day of the formation of the Republic of Altai. Performers under 21 had to perform at least 200 lines of legends, performers over 21, including the author of "Eshua" - at least 400 lines.
Together with "Eshua" Aidyn Kurmanov won the Grand Prix of the International Kurultay of Narrators "El Oiyn-2016".
